PASTOR AUGUSTINE YIGA : LUCIFERIAN OR BORN AGAIN

For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.(Philippians 3: 18-19)

They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them( I John 4:5)

One of the most controversial pastors in Uganda is Augustine Yiga of Kawaala Christian Revival Centre. He is popularly called ‘’abizayo’’( the one who sends back witch craft to the sender). He has a 30 minute programme on WBS every Sunday from 7:30-8:00am . He argues that people are suffering because they have been bewitched, so according to him since the bible says that what you sow is what you reap, whoever sows witchcraft should reap witchcraft. I some times watch his deception on WBS and pity, the naivety of many so called born again Christians. Many born again Christians trust in their SENSES instead of the WORD OF GOD.

"Christianity began as a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. When it went to Athens, it became a philosophy. When it went to Rome, it became an organization. When it went to Europe, it became a culture. When it came to America, it became a business. When it came to Africa , it became witchcraft"

Luciferian Yiga,s biography

http://www.newvision.co.ug/D/120/525/538279/Augustine%20Yiga

AM Pastor Augustine Yiga of Revival Christian Church Kawaala. I grew up in a strong Catholic family in Bukomansimbi, Masaka. I didn’t go far in school; I stopped in P4 because I was so unruly.

After being idle at home for several years, I decided to join a group of musicians who came to perform in our village in 1995. Livingstone Kasozi was head of the then Lukwata Guitar Singers.

Since I was too young to compose my own songs, I worked as a houseboy for the group. We would travel to different parts of the country and I was responsible for cooking and washing their clothes. Though it was fun being on board, it was also very tiring and not worth the little money I was paid.
During their free time I would learn to play several musical instruments.

In 1997, Kasozi was bedridden. By then I knew how to play the guitar so I played with the rest. However, they were no longer making money because their leader was down, so I soon left to try and survive on my own in the city.
It wasn’t easy. That’s why I ended up joining witchcraft. I practiced witchcraft for two years. I bought calabashes, spears, coffee and barkcloth and set up a shrine in my room.

Anyone who came into my room was convinced I was a witchdoctor, yet I was simply gambling.

I would change my voice whenever a client came in, pretending that the gods were really with me.

Though I made a lot of money, practicing witchcraft was a very shameful thing. I used the money I made as capital when I joined a group of con men (abafere) dealing in counterfeit notes. A friend connected me to these people.

On account of our activities, I was arrested several times and remanded in Luzira Prison. I was once arrested by Kalangala Action Plan and taken to Mbuya Barracks. There, I was harassed and on leaving I decided to become a born-again Christian.

I went straight to Pastor Fred Sserugo of Revival Christian Church Kazo and confessed my sins.

Without money, life became difficult once again. But I would pray and sometimes talk to the pastor. God’s love is forever and I am now a senior pastor.
I fasted for several days requesting God to give me the powers to cast out demons and perform miracles and now I do.

The con men and witchdoctors from my past were not happy with my transformation, saying I was going to disclose their secrets. They opened a war against me, but I simply prayed to God. Some of them are now wondering about my success.

My mother got saved but my father is still a strong Catholic though he has no problem with my getting born-again. In fact he gave me a go-ahead, saying this is better than witchcraft.

As told to Aidah Nanyonjo

According to Yiga’s biography, the guy lacks a sound foundation . All he is talking about is fasting and getting powers to cast out demons. Powers from Where???? His biography is indicative of the fact that he never spent time in God’s word and he never grew up in a sound church. No wonder he is ignorant about fundamental Christian doctrine. He is not alone, there are hundreds of half baked pastors like Yiga in the born again fraternity in Uganda. Luciferians pastors like Yiga have turned the truth of God into a lie.

DECEPTION IN THE UGANDAN BORN AGAIN CHURCH

http://www.yesumulungi.com/Commentary/Comment61.htm

Born again Christians in Uganda are in trouble because they do not know how to rightly divide scripture and how to prove all things( 1 Thes. 5:21). The Prosperity gospel in Uganda has created EMOTIONAL CHRISITANS who are easy prey for satan’s lies and deceptions. In virtually all churches you find Christians who dance with all their strength during praise and worship sessions , but when it comes to listening to the world of God, they doze right away. You will find pastors who do not know the difference between teaching and preaching . You will find some one who is a pastor, teacher, evangelist, prophet etc . The churches have turned into personal properties and businesses. The list of deceptions in the so called born again churches in Uganda is incredibly long.

THE KING JAMES VERSION BEATS THEM ALL

If one examines the so called Christian television in Uganda , one will notice how luciferic these televisions are. I WAS one time WATCHING TOP TV (OWNED BY PASTOR SENYONGA) OF CHRISTIAN LIFE CHURCH , BWAYISE. IT WAS SHOWING A NIGERIAN MOVIEW, THAT ENDED WHEN A CATHOLIC PRIEST WAS CHASING DEVILS BY HOLDING A ROSARY IN FRONT OF the devil possessed person. Now, this is surely an ecumenical Teelvision. The programmes that are showed on this TV do not help Christians to be discerning . They can never show films like, MESSAGES FROM HEAVEN, THEY DO NOT WANT TO DISCUSS THE HISTORY OF THE BBILE , THEY WILL NOT TELL YOU THE TRUTH ABOUT TBN , BENNY HINN, COPELAND AND ALL THE OTHER APOSTATES. In fact pastors like Senyonga have no moral authority to criticize Augustine Yiga, because they are worshiping the same mammon.

For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows( I Timothy 6: 10)

I was surprised to see pastor Yiga on WBS command the witchcraft that was in a baby to move out of the baby, to the baby’s mother . He has always told people to say, LET THE WITCHCRAFT THAT IS HAUTING ME GO BACK TO THE SENDER . HE ONCE TOLD A CHILD TO SAY LET THE WITCHCRAFT THAT IS HAUTING ME SPEAK THROUGH MY MOTHER(meaning let the devils that are haunting me use my mother as a vessel to say who sent them and why). Now , the lord Jesus Christ never did a thing like that . The bible is against revenge and therefore Yiga’s revenge doctrine is a doctrine of devils. It is from the pit of hell. See this scripture.

Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good(Roman 12:19-21)

The Lord Jesus Christ has continued to expose the wolf pastors in sheep skins in Uganda. Recently Pastor Katongole of the Abaana ba Katonda ne sente(children of God and money) sick gospel, showed his true Luciferian colors when he visited Pastor Yiga’s church. He called Yiga’s church esabo endongosemu( modified shrine). He gave a testimony that one day a sorcerer sent a rat to bite some one. This rat bit this guy whenever he tried to sleep. Now when this rat tormented person came to pastor Katongole, the pastor directed the rat to go and bite the sender. He says that this sorcerer’s private parts(genitals) were bitten by the rat until he went to his victim to ask him where he had gone to divert the witchcraft. Katongole says that both of them got saved in order to escape the rat.

Born again saints in Uganda should separate from all apostasy and must expose luciferian pastors like Augustine Yiga. The bible commands us to contend for the faith. There is nothing like revival in Uganda. What is on ground is terrible deception. This deception is going to increase. We need to be watchful all the time.

God bless you.

RELATED STORY

A day in the church of Pastor Yiga ‘Abizaayo’

http://www.monitor.co.ug/artman/publish/sunday_life/A_day_in_the_church_of_Pastor_Yiga_Abizaayo_83827.shtml

A common trait amongst the swarm of people that come here is that they have been bewitched, writes Edwin Nuwagaba

Sunday is usually a very low profile day. Most towns are empty as there is not so much business going on. In the small town of Kawaala however - things are different.

This is Pastor Augustine Yiga’s Revival Christian Church Kawaala is and from about 10a.m till evening, taxis offload passengers and return to Kampala to pick others. A common trait amongst the swarm of people that come here is that they have been bewitched, so they want this man of God to send back the demons to whoever sent them.

That is why Pastor Yiga calls himself Abizaayo, which means; the one that sends them back - demons, witchcraft, dogo, mayembe and all such kind of stuff.

The church is a huge temporary structure, iron-roofed and supported by timber poles; the walls are made of tarpaulin locally known as tundubaale, the floor is dusty, but people are not bothered by this - as their main concern is seeing their demons cast away. Inside the church are all sorts of people; women with their children, the youth, and even some old men.

Standing at the pulpit is Pastor Yiga, dressed in a shiny black suit with pointed black shoes, holding an overhead microphone. He speaks with a lot of strength and authority to a very attentive audience.

“This is the church that sends them back,” he affirms as I take my seat. “Some of you might be wondering why a man of God says that he sends them back yet the Bible teaches forgiveness. But do you know why Judas Iscariot hung himself?

It is because he deceived God,” he goes on and on, saying that if somebody bewitches someone, then those charms (edogo) should be sent back to him so that he or she can feel the pain they have inflicted on others.

“There is a woman here whose son got lost at this church, where are you?” Yiga asks, as a middle-aged woman comes to the front. Tears almost falling from her eyes, she recalls the previous Sunday’s tragedy; while other children were coming out of Sunday school, her own did not show up.

The seven-year-old has been missing for seven days now. When she is done telling her story, the pastor assures her that by the end of five days she will have seen her child.
The pastor’s Prado, contrasts sharply with his dilapidated church, above.

The pastor preaches on and on in luganda as his interpreter translates in English. The congregation screams at almost every statement he makes, but there is nothing here like referring to the Bible. When the preaching session ends, the pastor now prompts his congregation to start bringing in money.

“If you feel like this is your church and you hope to gain from it, stand up,” as they all get on their feet and rush to the front to give in their money. First they give offertory, then the tithe, then the building fee.

A woman seated next to me who has paid for all the three. When I ask her what inspires her to give in that much, she tells me that she has benefited a lot from this church because her co-wife was bewitching her but now, all the witchcraft she had sent her way have gone back to the sender.

After this, the pastor tells us to go for a lunch break of 20 minutes and return for the powerful session. Outside the church are women selling food in the open - a plate of food costs between Shs1,000 to Shs1,500, and the “dining area” is the seats outside the church. As I move around outside, there are two young men, both talking about the wonders the pastor has done for them.

One says; “My stepmother used to send snakes to my house and every time I tried hitting them I ended up hitting the air. But when I joined this church and talked to Yiga about it, he assured me everything would be okay, and consequently, the snakes have bitten one of my stepmother’s sons and his leg has since broken off.” They tell me that the pastor has always warned them against going for a journey, or changing jobs and houses of residence without telling him. This is because he always has to give them a certain oil to protect themselves.

They bubble on about Pastor Rajab who separated from Pastor Yiga’s church and started his own. This man, who had been helped by Pastor Yiga to start his career, had gone around speaking ill of him. Worse still, he used to park his car outside Yiga’s church and take away members of the congregation. But one Sunday, Pastor Rajab, after his church collapsed and he lost everything including his car and his house, came to this church and for about 30 minutes on his knees, begged Pastor Yiga to forgive him.

“That man is strong; you can’t play around with him. You wait and see what will be happening when we go inside,” one of them says. When we retuned for the second session however, the choir spent over 30 “hours” singing and staging drama. But what is surprising is that they dwell so much on domestic affairs and praising Pastor Yiga’s powers, and they never sing about Jesus. For all this time, it was like we were attending a local kiggunda concert.

When I talked to the pastor about why he sort of differs from what other pastors teach, he defended himself, saying, “We believe in forgiving if someone repents. So if a person has not repented, he should not be forgiven. All the ddogo he has sent to someone, must be sent back to him or her,” he says.

He adds; “If a person kills another, they should also be killed by hanging. If you read Mathew 2:1, you will see that Herod wanted Jesus to die but instead the death he wished for Jesus was sent back to him by God.”

I ask him what mechanisms he uses to send back these things and he says, “When I am praying, I say: Let people repent, but God, if you see that they have refused to repent, let the demons they have sent to others be sent back to them. So it is not my power; it is the power of God, it is him that gave me the gift to call these demons and send them back to those that sent them”.
