In Summary
In their letter, the archbishops reiterated their support for a document known as the Dromantine Communique, published in 2005 by the primates of the Anglican Communion.

The Archbishops of Canterbury and York have written to the presidents of Uganda and Nigeria, after being asked about laws there penalising gay people.
The letter said homosexual people were loved and valued by God and should not be victimised or diminished.
Uganda and Nigeria have both passed legislation targeting people with same-sex attraction.
The letter is also addressed to all primates (heads of national Churches) in the worldwide Anglican Communion.

Archbishops Justin Welby of Canterbury and John Sentamu of York said the letter was a result of "questions about the Church of England's attitude to new legislation in several countries that penalises people with same-sex attraction".
The letter comes as Archbishop Welby starts a five-day tour of Africa.

'Draconian'
In Nigeria this month, President Goodluck Jonathan signed into law a bill which bans same-sex marriages, gay groups and shows of same-sex public affection.
In Uganda - Archbishop Sentamu's native country - a bill allowing for greater punishments for gay people, and those who fail to turn them in to police, has been passed by parliament, but blocked - for now - by President Yoweri Museveni.
The laws have been heavily criticised by gay and human rights groups.
UN human rights chief Navi Pillay described the Nigerian law as "draconian".
She said she had rarely seen a piece of legislation "that in so few paragraphs directly violates so many basic, universal human rights".
In their letter, the archbishops reiterated their support for a document known as the Dromantine Communique, published in 2005 by the primates of the Anglican Communion.
The communique said: "We continue unreservedly to be committed to the pastoral support and care of homosexual people.
"The victimisation or diminishment of human beings whose affections happen to be ordered towards people of the same sex is anathema to us.
"We assure homosexual people that they are children of God, loved and valued by Him and deserving the best we can give - pastoral care and friendship."

'False gospel'

Archbishop Welby's stance on homosexual relationships has created tension with more traditionalist Anglicans.
Last October, he held talks with members of the Global Anglican Future Conference (Gafcon), which condemns those who preach what it calls a "false gospel" claiming God's blessing for same-sex unions.
The primates of seven national Anglican churches in Africa attended October's Gafcon meeting, including Uganda and Nigeria.
Archbishop Welby has said some gay couples have loving, stable and monogamous relationships of "stunning" quality.
But he says he still supports the Church of England's opposition to active homosexuality.

Archbishop Ntagali Hits Back At Anglican Leader On Anti-gay Law

The Archbishop of the Church of Uganda Stanly Ntagali has responded to a letter written by two senior Anglican Church leaders on recent passing of anti-gay laws in Uganda and Nigeria.

On Thursday, the Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby, who is the head of the Anglican Church together Dr John Ssentamu, the Archbishop of York, wrote to the presidents of Nigeria and Uganda over the laws criminalizing homosexuality.

The two prelates say in their letter that homosexual people are loved and valued by God and should not be victimised or diminished.

Uganda and Nigeria have both passed legislation criminalizing same-sex attraction relationships. On December 30, the Ugandan Parliament passed the Anti-Homosexuality Bill, allowing for greater punishments for gay people, and those who fail to report them to police. President Yoweri Museveni has however declined to assent to it.

Early this month, Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan signed into law a similar bill which bans same-sex marriages, gay groups and shows of same-sex public affection.

But just hours after the letter became public, Archbishop Ntagali, a known critic of gay unions and supporter the anti-homosexual legislation, has responded to Church of England’s report saying the church leaders in Uganda are encouraged by the work of the country’s parliament to pass the law.

Archbishops Welby and Ssentamu addressed their letter to all primates who are heads of national Churches in the worldwide Anglican Communion. The authors said the letter was a result of questions about the Church of England’s attitude to new legislation in several countries that penalizes people with same-sex attraction.

In their letter, the archbishops reiterated their support for the Dromantine Communique that was published in 2005 by the primates of the Anglican Communion. The communique noted that they continue unreservedly to be committed to the pastoral support and care of homosexual people and that the victimisation or diminishment of human beings whose affections happen to be ordered towards people of the same sex is anathema to them.

But Ntagali, in his response made yesterday, says the law is necessary. He says the Church of Uganda is encouraged by Parliament’s decision to amend the Anti-Homosexuality Bill and remove the death penalty among other changes.

He noted that this frees the clergy and church leaders to fulfill the 2008 resolution of the House of Bishops to “offer counseling, healing and prayer for people with homosexual orientation, especially in schools and other institutions of learning.

Ntagali said that the Church is a safe place for individuals, who are confused about their sexuality or struggling with sexual brokenness, to seek help and healing.

He noted that the Church of Uganda is grateful for the reminder of the Archbishops of Canterbury and York to fulfill such commitments as stated in the 2005 Communique of the Primates Meeting held in Dromantine, Northern Ireland.

He insists that as per the resolutions of the Lambeth Conference of 1998, homosexual practice is incompatible with the Scripture, and the conference cannot advise the legitimizing or blessing of same sex unions nor ordaining those involved in same gender unions.

Ntagali noted that it was the Episcopal Church of USA and the Anglican Church of Canada’s violations of Lambeth 1.10 resolution which caused the Church of Uganda to break communion with those Provinces more than ten years ago.

He hoped that the Archbishops and governing bodies of the Church of England will step back from the path they have set themselves on so the Church of Uganda will be able to maintain communion with its own Mother Church.

A Born-again pastor in Iganga district drowned along with a convert he was trying to baptize in an incident that left many shocked and engrossed in fear.

About 200 Christians had gathered at the dam to witness the baptism ceremony, but were left horror-struck when the proceedings took a fatal twist.

It is understood the dam, belonging to Mugoya Construction Company Ltd, is a popular site for baptism ceremonies.

But the latest initiation ceremony went awfully wrong when Pastor Wilber Mukisa of Redeemed Gospel Church in Bukooma village and Farida Mugolofa, a convert, drowned after they were allegedly hit by a “huge mass of water”, witnesses said.

The two tried to scramble out of the water but failed, as scores of followers watched in dismay.

Another pastor who was with the duo in the waters at the time of the deadly incident managed to swim to safety.

Pastor Joseph Akwasibwe from Kampala had joined in on the proceedings but was lucky to escape when the waters hit hard at them.

The incident occurred on Tuesday at around 6pm local time (EAT, 3pm GMT).

Seven other people have died in this dam during baptism ceremonies in the last two years, area residents said.

Sadat Bazibu, a witness of the latest fatality, said after the three – the two pastors and the convert – had entered the dam to carry out the ceremony, they were “covered by a strong mass of water”.

Iganga district police commander, Herbert Nuwagaba, said investigations into the matter had started and that the survivor pastor would help police.

Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni’s utterances about the atrocities committed in Uganda are much too little and too late, Uganda People People’s Congress President Olara Otunnu says.

While Speaking at Celebrations to mark 28 years of NRM on Sunday, President Museveni for the first time acknowledged that there were incidents in the anti-insurgency campaign for which they are ashamed and wondered why they were not being reported.

President Museveni cited the Mukura railway wagon incident that saw 40 people burnt and the Bucoro pit incident, in which soldiers dug pits two meters deep and laid logs covered with soil. Residents were out in the pits and fire lit on top of the logs.

He also cited the incident at Kanyum where citizens were killed by elements of the UPDF after the army had been attacked by the rebels. President Museveni added that there were incidents of looting property and incidents of indiscipline reported in Nwoya which he would follow up, unearth the culprits and hold them accountable.

But Otunnu says President Museveni has tediously faced up to the scope of the atrocities committed under his command in Northern Uganda.

Otunnu reiterates his decade long claim that the NRM government deliberately used HIV/AIDS as a weapon of mass destruction in Northern Uganda by deploying infected soldiers to sleep with girls and women.  He says the acts were humiliating to families.

Otunnu says that under International law, all these actions tantamount to crimes of war, crimes against humanity and genocide. He wants President Museveni to be held should be held personally responsible for the atrocities

In Summary

The President, while emphasising the importance of a disciplined army, said there are incidents to be “ashamed of” in the way the National Resistance Army (NRA), which is now Uganda Peoples Defence Forces (UPDF), fought rebels in northern Uganda.

While delivering his speech at the celebrations of the 28th anniversary of the National Resistance Movement in power in Mayuge District last Sunday, President Museveni promised to punish, if they were still alive, elements of his army who participated in killings in northern Uganda. Sunday Monitor’s Eriasa Mukiibi Sserunjogibrings you excerpts of the The Beasts at Burcoro, a report on the killings in Nwoya District by the NRA.
At the celebration of the 28th anniversary of the National Resistance Movement in power in Mayuge District last Sunday, President Museveni spoke about the armed wing of his Movement in a candid manner that had never before been heard.
The President, while emphasising the importance of a disciplined army, said there are incidents to be “ashamed of” in the way the National Resistance Army (NRA), which is now Uganda Peoples Defence Forces (UPDF), fought rebels in northern Uganda.
“Apart from the Mukura railway wagon incident and the Burcoro pit incident, which were reported, there were other incidents that are coming to light now,”’ Mr Museveni said. “I do not know why the people did not report those incidents.”

The unreported incidents, according to Mr Museveni, happened “at Kanyum where wananchi were killed by elements of our army for no reason at all after the army had been attacked by the rebels; there were incidents of looting property including cattle; and other incidents of indiscipline reported in Nwoya.”

Mr Museveni vowed: “I am going to follow up all these incidents, unearth the culprits if they are still alive so as to hold them accountable and compensate the victims or their descendants.”
Whereas the President named the Burcoro incident as one of the documented ones, however, not many people seem to know the exact extent of what happened there.

New report
A report produced last year by the non-governmental organisation, Justice and Reconciliation Project (JRP), titled The Beasts at Burcoro, offers piercing insights into what exactly happened there.
During a five-day spell, between April 14 and 18, 1991, the village which lies16 kilometres northeast of Gulu town was turned upside down by NRA soldiers from the 22nd Battalion which was commanded by Major Reuben Ikondere under the auspices of Operation North, whose overall commander was the then Maj Gen David Tinyefuza.
At Burcoro Primary School, the report notes, “several hundred” people were detained by NRA soldiers and were “released only after being interrogated, tortured, and sexually abused throughout the four days of the operation.”

“In this instance alone,” the report says, “government soldiers committed crimes including murder, rape, sexual violence, torture, cruel treatment, deprivation of liberty, outrages upon personal dignity, attacking civilians, pillaging and other inhumane acts.”

The report says the people of Burcoro came to refer to the soldiers of the 22nd Battalion “as the ‘Gung’ (‘bend for me’) battalion in reference to their acts of male rape.”

The 28-page report, released in July last year, is based on the recollections of the survivors of the incident and is heavy on survivor accounts, some of which we reproduce below.

Excerpts from the Report

A woman’s first encounter with NRA
We first noticed the presence of the soldiers on the evening of the day before the operation. When I came back from the garden with my husband I noticed that food had been spilled, granaries had been opened and someone had defecated inside. I was shocked. The children told us that some soldiers had come and done this. I asked myself what kind of soldiers are these that would do such a thing... We didn’t think that they would be back again so we slept that night in the house.

Another woman’s experience
“We weren’t even fully awake when the soldiers were already outside our house. They knocked on my door. My husband’s other wife and I both came out. My daughter was there as well. The soldiers told my daughter to give them the money that my husband got from selling charcoal. My daughter said that she didn’t know where her father’s money was. One of the soldiers slapped her and she fell down. Then another soldier picked up an axe and tried to hit her with it, but she managed to move in time and ran away to another home.”

A man recalls running to the bush
“But the soldiers ran after me and when they caught me they started beating me. They said that I was running like a rebel, so they beat me seriously.”

A woman on how they were taken to Burcoro
“(They ordered us) to gather in one straight line. Once this was done, some soldiers got to the front of the line while others stayed at the back and we were marched to Burcoro. Just like that we remained with no option but to follow their commands.”

A woman accused of hiding rebels
“They accused me of hiding rebels in the house and started beating and stepping on me… They beat me until I defecated on myself. My four-year-old son then started crying and one of the soldiers kicked him in the stomach. He fell down and started urinating on himself… Before long my husband came. His name was Albertino Kinyera, but he was commonly known as Lucoc. They accused him of being a rebel and beat him repeatedly until they broke one of his hands. They then forced us to follow them and we were taken to Burcoro Primary School.”

At the school
“The soldiers began to ask us whether we knew why they had brought us here. Everyone remained quiet…They went on to say that the reason they were here was in order to show us where the rebels were.”

Another woman’s perils
“Once in the school, the soldiers began to ask us whether we knew what had happened in the Luweero Triangle. We said that we didn’t. They then said they would do to us what the rebels had done in Luweero. The soldiers then ordered all of us to lie on the ground facing down. I tried to lift my head a bit to see where my two teenage girls were, but I received a hard kick on my ribs by one of the soldiers. Still I managed to grab the hand of one of my daughters and pulled her closer to me. As I struggled to pull her, another soldier yanked one of my thighs and pierced it with a bayonet sending a very sharp pain through my spine as he asked why I was taking away the young girl. Amidst the blood which was now oozing out of my thigh I replied that she was my daughter and that I was only telling her to put her head down.”

“If you know that the rebels have ever cooked in your compound, or abducted you for even a mere reason like showing them the way, get up and come this way.”

One man recounts
“The soldiers cautioned us that should somebody wait until he was named by another person then that would amount to an automatic death sentence. The people became very fearful. I was abducted by the rebels and I spent three weeks in captivity before returning home. So, when I saw the people who knew me get up, I got afraid and voluntarily stood up as well. Some people whom we knew had been abducted for a longer time were brave and never got up.”

Another man says
Most people went, but I managed to save the life of one of my uncles who had previously been abducted by the rebels. His father was persuading him to get up, but I told him to wait a moment, to not get up because the motives were still unclear. He sat back in the crowd and never got up.” 35 men either volunteered or were selected from the group. The soldiers considered them the principal rebel collaborators.
Arach Ogwete, the intelligence officer of the 22nd Batallion, to the crowd
“He began to ask us whether we knew the reason why they had brought us to the primary school. Everyone remained quiet… He went on and said that the reason we were here was so that we could show them where the rebels were. The people could not say anything. We feared them.”

Remaining men separated from women
“They started asking us where our rebel sons were. They then accused us of having recruited all of our sons into the rebel ranks, so we were told to lie down; then the beating started. They began giving us five strokes with the cane, then 10, then 20…. They would give you some time to rest and then later on they would come back again.”

Woman recalls rape experience

“We were just left at the mercy of the soldiers; we had no say over our bodies. The soldiers set up small tents within the school and it was in these tents and classrooms that the women were gang raped.”
Missing daughter

“In the school, my two girls were taken away by the soldiers as I remained with a group of women. Both of them were raped by the soldiers and one was actually taken by them. Her name was Agnes Akello. She was only 14 years old and her breasts were just beginning to form. Unfortunately, she became part of the girls who were taken away from here by the soldiers. Maybe one of the soldiers took her for a wife. A few of these girls have returned, others have died, while others like mine cannot be traced. Whether she is still alive or not, I can’t tell… My daughter has been missing for over twenty years. It is impossible to forget her; this is my problem. It is my destiny from God and I can’t escape from it.”

Digging pit for the 35 men

“I think they selected us because we looked healthy and strong. They separated us from the crowd, took us to the school, and once there they ordered us to take our shirts off. We were given hoes and the Intelligence Officer then began to demarcate the ground. He said that the task he was going to give us was very tough and that we would be constantly stung by bees and wasps in the process… Little did we know that those bees and wasps were actually the soldiers that soon began to hit us with their canes as we dug.”
One man describes the finished pit

“[It] was covered with big logs of wood, and then mud was spread on top to help seal the space left between the logs. And finally dry grass was used to cover the top of the pit. A small hole was left for the entrance.” The 35 men who had been selected as rebel collaborators were forced inside the pit. They would be allowed out in the morning and then forced back at night for three nights.

One night in the pit

“The soldiers guarding us brought the wife of one man and raped her in turns at the entrance of the pit; we could hear her moan. It was such a disgusting thing. Hearing how this woman was fighting these soldiers saddened me and I felt that it could have been even worse for the rest of the other women. We could hear the constant strangling and slaps she was receiving from the soldiers.”

Suffocated with pepper smoke

The report notes that on the third night in the pit, the occupants were suffocated with pepper smoke. One man who escaped the pit recalls: “As soon as the smoke reached the men in the pit it created chaos and confusion. The people in the pit began to sneeze and scream at the top of their voices as they fought for their lives.” By the time the pit ordeal was over, Okema Rodento, Opwonya Opige, Okot Ogoo, and Ojabu were dead.

A pepper survivor recounts

“Some people began to shout, others were running crazy and quarrelling. The whole place became a spectacle… There was hardly any fresh air left in the pit, the men began to sneeze as some cried. This was also the very moment when a lot of men started suffocating, heat became so intense that some people sweated and dropped dead… I became so helpless that one of the men in the pit had pity on me and began to console me. He said that I wasn’t going to die and that he would protect me. He laid me down and guarded me. My whole body was dripping with sweat… Unfortunately this same man who passionately protected me from death succumbed to the heat and died.”
Kapere goes berserk over pepper smoke
This time the pit became so hot that people started suffocating. Kapere became crazy and started biting people. Any attempt to restrain him was futile as he bit anything that came across his mouth. The people pleaded with him to remain calm but he kept repeating that he didn’t know if he was going to survive. People tried to console him but we struggled in vain.”

After the pit

Very early in the morning the soldiers removed me and three other men from the pit and they started beating us while we moved. The beating was so brutal that I thought they would kill us there, so I told the other men to pretend to be dead so we fell to the ground. Once we fell the soldiers began to kick us and step over us.
Fate of a religious leader

“Being a religious leader, I was beaten until I could not bear the pain anymore. As I tried to shield myself from the canes using my hand, it got beaten and wounded very badly. The beatings went on until one of the commanders showed up and talked to their leader.”

Avenging Luweero?

A soldier then accused us of sheltering rebels and told us to remember the things that happened in Luweero... He said if we knew what had happened in Luweero, then we wouldn’t be asking for water or cool shelter for the children, because in Luweero the children were pounded with mortars.

Lone rape survivor

“Those women that put up any resistance were beaten. I only survived from being taken because I had my baby with me and I clutched it strongly in my arms. I was the only woman that had a child at that moment. Almost all the other women were taken.”

The murder of Kapere

“Kapere was paraded before the crowd for a few minutes before being tied to the trunk of a tree across the road from the school. Ogwete, the intelligence officer, then addressed the people telling them how they had been warned about the dangers of keeping a rebel amongst them and that this would serve as an example for all other rebel collaborators. The soldiers then brutally shot Kapere until they had emptied their magazines.
By the time the shooting stopped, Kapere’s body was so badly maimed that skin had peeled off from some parts. Ogwete ordered the women to ululate while he turned to the men who had been in the pit and selected the ones who still looked strong to dig a grave for Kapere.”

Million dollar questions for Judith Babirye :

  • Why would God curse the poor Basoga with jiggers for  harassing God’s ministers and spare the rich Basoga??

  • Why would God curse  only the poor Basoga with jiggers for harassing God’s ministers and live the satanic priestess Maama Fina to live in comfort and wealthy ? see,

  • Why would God curse  only the poor Basoga with Jiggers  for harassing God’s ministers and spare corrupt government officials who rob monies meant to provide service delivery to the poor?

The jiggers in Busoga are due to the immense poverty that has been created in Uganda by Museveni’s corrupt dictatorship. This dehumanizing  poverty has robbed God's people of their self esteem to an extent that they do not see any reason to mind about their bodies.

Now gospel musician Judith Babirye has claimed that jiggers in the region are a curse from God.
Speaking at gospel crusade organised by the Kamuli Pastors’ Fellowship last week, Ms Babirye said the jiggers are a punishment from God to the Basoga for shunning the gospel.
She said the only way out was to seek repentance for harassing God’s ministers who have in the past been sent to work in the region and to embrace Jesus Christ if blessings are to return.

“Basoga killed Bishop [James]Hannington in Mayuge District. You harassed and chased away Reinhart Bonnke from Jinja. This attracted a curse from God. That is why Busoga is home to jiggers,” she said.
The artiste confirmed to local media last year that she woulld contest for Buikwe District Woman MP seat in 2016.
The chief preacher at the crusade, Pastor Imelda Namutebi, of Liberty worship Centre, called on reawakening of the people to win God’s favour.
Pastor Namutebi encouraged spiritual and political leaders to mobilise the people to love one another and preach reconciliation and hard work.

Mass Homosexual ‘Wedding’ Officiated Live During Grammy Awards Show

http://christiannews.net/2014/01/27/mass-homosexual-wedding-officiated-live-during-grammy-awards-show/

Macklemore Credit Drew of the Come Up ShowLOS ANGELES – A mass homosexual ‘wedding’ was officiated live during the 56th annual Grammy Awards show on Sunday.

The event featured both homosexual and heterosexual couples–34 in all–who exchanged vows on stage, which was decorated to resemble a wedding chapel and featured a large choir.

During the occasion, the popular rap/hip hop duo Macklemore & Ryan Lewis performed their hit song One Love, which celebrates homosexuality and criticizes those who interpret the Scriptures to define same-sex behavior as sin.

“The right-wing conservatives think it’s a decision/And you can be cured with some treatment and religion/Man-made rewiring of a predisposition,” Macklemore rapped on stage. “Playing God, aw nah, here we go/America the brave still fears what we don’t know/And God loves all his children is somehow forgotten/But we paraphrase a book written 3500 years ago.”

Queen Latifah officiated the ceremony, leading participants in the exchange of vows and wedding rings.

“Music has the power to bring people together at the Grammys,” she stated in her introduction to Macklemore. “This song is a love song not for some of us, but all of us! Strip away the fear; underneath it’s all the same love.”

Madonna followed Macklemore with a presentation of Open Your Heart to Me, as the crowd gave a standing ovation to those who were “wed” during the live ceremony.
Connect with Christian News
The event was broadcast live nationwide via CBS, which announced in writing prior to the broadcast that the Grammys would feature an “on-air wedding.”

Neil Portnow, the president of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, which organizes the Grammys, acknowledged that there would be disagreement surrounding the ceremony.

“I expect that people with all kinds of opinions might voice them,” he told the New York Times, “And that’s healthy.”

And, as Portnow expected, some expressed disapproval of the live ceremony, calling it a “political stunt.”

“They can say this is not a stunt, but that’s exactly what it is—a piece of musical agitprop to mock the traditional values of conservative American Christians, Jews, Muslims, and others,” wrote commenter Tim Graham in a Newsbusters article. “Entertainers never want to have a debate, just a series of arrogant ‘statements’ with no opportunity for a conversation as they flush the Bible on national TV.”

Conservative commentator Todd Starnes agreed.
“Macklemore launche[d] a hate-filled, bigoted, ignorant diatribe against Christians,” he Tweeted on Sunday. “This was not about marriage. This was about bashing God and the Church.”

Popular Christian gospel singer Natalie Grant walked out of the Grammys after witnessing a series of performances that even the mainstream entertainment media admitted were occult in nature.

Grant, who was nominated for two Grammys last night, tweeted her excitement upon arriving at the event but soon made it clear that she left early because what she witnessed conflicted with her Christian beliefs, stating, “We left the Grammy’s early. I’ve many thoughts, most of which are probably better left inside my head. But I’ll say this: I’ve never been more honored to sing about Jesus and for Jesus. And I’ve never been more sure of the path I’ve chosen.”

(1 of 2) We left the Grammy's early. I've many thoughts, most of which are probably better left inside my head. But I'll say this:

Although she remained coy on the exact circumstances, Grant was probably referring to Katy Perry, who was surrounded by demons as she danced around an upside down broomstick before being encircled by fire during a performance of her song “Dark Horse”. Perry wore clothing bearing an illuminated Knights Templar cross.

I've never been more honored to sing about Jesus and for Jesus. And I've never been more sure of the path I've chosen.

Even E! Online tweeted that Perry’s performance resembled “actual witchcraft”.
Christian music website BreatheCast complained that Perry’s performance was “filled with satanic imagery and witchcraft.” Viewers also expressed their shock at the occult overtones of the show.

However, Grant could also have been offended by the mass gay wedding ceremony which took place during a performance by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis.

I've never been more honored to sing about Jesus and for Jesus. And I've never been more sure of the path I've chosen.

Not to be outdone, Beyonce and Jay-Z attempted to up the ante by performing a risqué duet which provoked fury from parents who complained that the spectacle was too explicit for children. Jay-Z’s acceptance speech, during which he said, “I would like to thank God… a little,” also prompted claims that the rapper was invoking the Illuminati.

I'm like 99% sure Katy perry just summoned satan during her performance

The International Business Times reacted by claiming that Perry, Beyonce and Jay-Z’s antics were merely an example of the Grammys, “trolling Illuminati conspiracy theorists.”

Did you see Katy Perry’s performance at the Grammys?  It was essentially an Illuminati-themed occult ritual.  Various media reports say that Perry “dressed up as a witch”, and her performance included a Knights Templar cross emblazoned across her chest, a beast with Moloch horns, dancers in dark robes with devil horns protruding from their heads, and pole dancing with a broom.

At the end of the “ceremony”, Perry was “burned at the stake” as the song ended.  All of this hardcore occult symbolism did not get into her performance by accident.  The attention to detail that this performance exhibited shows that someone put a lot of thought and effort into it.  So was Perry actually kidding when she said that she had “sold my soul to the devil” during a television interview a few years ago?  The kind of stuff that Perry is doing now is not for amateurs.  She is either working with someone who is deep into the occult or she is deep into it herself.  And of course the elite absolutely love this stuff.  Even if you don’t believe in “occult rituals” or “Illuminati symbolism”, it is important to remember that the elite do.  In fact, many of them are completely obsessed with this stuff.  And they are more than happy to promote any performer that embraces their world.  That is why we see this stuff pop up in high profile public performances time after time after time.

But without a doubt, Kary Perry has taken things to an entirely new level.  A YouTube video that contains footage of her entire performance is posted below.  However, it should be noted that this is not appropriate for children to watch, so please use discretion…

Needless to say, her performance immediately prompted strong reactions all over the world.  The following are just a few of the things that people were saying about it on Twitter

One user tweeted: “I mean they showed Katy Perry ‘s demonic witchcraft performance & I’m like oh that’s talent?”
Another said, “Katy Perry promoting witchcraft, demons, magic, Satanism, the dark horse with demonic red eyes of the apocalypse ready for the perfect storm.”
“Katy Perry pole dancing on a witchcraft broom stick; everything I’ve ever aspired to be.”
“Katy Perry went from singing Country Gospel Music to Witchcraft on Tv….. Well then..”
“This Katy Perry performance look like some Witchcraft Devil Work”

And of course this is hardly the first time these kinds of symbols have appeared in Perry’s performances.
She appears to be someone that fully embraces the darkness.

For me, one of the most striking examples of this is her song “E.T.” in which she expresses her desire to have sex with an “extraterrestrial” who also could “be the devil”…
You’re so hypnotizing
Could you be the devil?
Could you be an angel?

Your touch magnetizing
Feels like I am floating
Leaves my body glowing

They say, be afraid
You’re not like the others
Futuristic lover
Different DNA
They don’t understand you

[Pre-Chorus]
You’re from a whole ‘nother world
A different dimension
You open my eyes
And I’m ready to go
Lead me into the light

Kiss me, ki-ki-kiss me
Infect me with your love and
Fill me with your poison

Take me, ta-ta-take me
Wanna be a victim
Ready for abduction

Boy, you’re an alien
Your touch so foreign
It’s supernatural
Extraterrestrial

[Verse 2]
You’re so supersonic
Wanna feel your powers
Stun me with your lasers
Your kiss is cosmic
Every move is magic

[Pre-Chorus]
You’re from a whole ‘nother world
A different dimension
You open my eyes
And I’m ready to go
Lead me into the light

[Chorus]
Kiss me, ki-ki-kiss me
Infect me with your love and
Fill me with your poison
Take me, ta-ta-take me
Wanna be a victim
Ready for abduction
Boy, you’re an alien
Your touch so foreign
It’s supernatural
Extraterrestrial

[Bridge]
This is transcendental
On another level
Boy, you’re my lucky star
I wanna walk on your wave length
And be there when you vibrate
For you I’ll risk it all

[Chorus]
Kiss me, ki-ki-kiss me
Infect me with your love and
Fill me with your poison
Take me, ta-ta-take me
Wanna be a victim
Ready for abduction
Boy, you’re an alien
Your touch so foreign
It’s supernatural
Extraterrestrial
You have to be blind not to see what Perry is talking about in this song.
And the video for this song makes this message even more clear.  You can watch it right here.  It has been watched more than 256 million times on YouTube so far.

Having sex with “extraterrestrials”, “aliens”, “demons” or “the gods” is something that only those deep into the occult are into.  And Katy Perry is introducing these concepts to millions upon millions of young kids around the globe.

And what do you think is going to happen to these kids as they sing these words over and over out loud and in their minds?

That is why the elite love performers like Katy Perry so much.  They are the perfect platform for indoctrinating the youth of the planet into the occult one world religion that they have planned.
In fact, nearly all of the top music acts are into this stuff these days.  In a previous article, I discussed the Illuminati themes that permeate the music and performances of Jay Z and his wife Beyonce.  At the Grammys, this time there was not too much of that from Jay Z and Beyonce.  Instead, they seemed content to be as lewd as possible.  The following is how the Daily Mail described Beyonce’s performance…

Beyoncé’s Grammy Awards performance was slammed by concerned parents on Sunday as they deemed the incredibly risqué routine too explicit for children to watch.
The 32-year-old singer wore a revealing black thong bodysuit over fishnet tights to perform a rendition of her hit Drunk In Love alongside husband Jay Z at the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles.

Beyoncé’s sexy dance routine, which aired at 8pm on both coasts and at 7pm central time, had many furious parents posting comments on social media that the performance was ‘disrespectful’, had ‘no class’ and was entirely inappropriate for young viewers.

So what do you think about all of this?
Are you concerned about the occult themes in today’s music?

Christian Singer Natalie Grant Responds to Criticism for Leaving Grammy Awards Early

Natalie_Grant Credit LukeForddotcomNASHVILLE – Contemporary Christian music artist Natalie Grant has issued a response to critics who are blasting her for walking out of the Grammy Awards show last Sunday, or as she characterized it—she left early.

“We left the Grammy’s early,” Grant, who was nominated for two awards, posted on Facebook Sunday evening. “I’ve many thoughts about the show tonight, most of which are probably better left inside my head. But I’ll say this: I’ve never been more honored to sing about Jesus and for Jesus. And I’ve never been more sure of the path I’ve chosen.”

While the Dove award-winning singer did not cite her reasons for leaving, many are noting that several of the performances that night were concerning.

The sexually-charged duet featuring Beyoncé and her husband Jay-Z was characterized by some as “raunchy,” a witch-themed performance by Katy Perry was dubbed as being “Satanic” in nature, and many expressed disgust at the mass same-sex (and heterosexual) “wedding” that was officiated by Queen Latifah on stage following a performance of the homosexual advocacy song “One Love,” sung by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis.

Following Grant’s status update, a number of those who learned about her early departure took to Grant’s Facebook page to lambaste her and her stand—many of whom assumed she left because of the same-sex “wedding” that was to be officiated.
“It’s unfortunate that you follow a God who has conditional love,” one commenter wrote. “I follow a God who loves and embraces all kinds.”

“Jesus would be saddened and ashamed of homophobia,” another asserted.

Seeing that her post resulted in a firestorm of controversy, Grant wrote a lengthy follow-up status to further explain.

“I never said I left during any particular performance. I only said I left early,” she stated. “I never pointed out any one particular performance; I only said I had many thoughts about the entire show, which were best left inside my head and that is where they will stay. So those who say I condemned one performance but then condoned others clearly did not read the post.”

“I’ve judged no one. I hate no one. And I believe that every person has been created in the image of God,” Grant continued. “What I did say is this: I am honored to be a part of the Christian music community. I’ve had many people throughout my career ask why I never tried to go in to mainstream music, and last night was a beautiful reminder that I love singing about Jesus and for Jesus.”

Grammy award nominee Mandisa said that she sat out the awards show completely this year as she did not wish to subject herself to temptation.

“I have been struggling with being in the world, not of it lately. I have fallen prey to the alluring pull of flesh, pride, and selfish desires quite a bit recently,” she wrote on Facebook regarding her decision to skip the event. “I knew that submerging myself into an environment that celebrates those things was risky for me at this time.”
Natalie Grant is known for her songs “Held,” “I Will Not Be Moved” and “Alive.”
